2024 Nba Mock Draft Raptors Projected To Select Stephon Castle

2024 NBA Mock Draft: Raptors Projected to Select Stephon Castle

Bleacher Report's Mock Draft Has Toronto Landing Top Wing Prospect

Raptors Projected to Add Versatile Playmaker and Floor Spacer

The Toronto Raptors are projected to select Stephon Castle with the fifth overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, according to Bleacher Report's latest mock draft. Castle, a 6'7" wing from the University of Florida, is known for his athleticism, defensive versatility, and shooting ability. He averaged 16.5 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.8 steals per game in his sophomore season. The Raptors are in need of a wing with Castle's skill set. They have a solid core of young players, including Scottie Barnes, Precious Achiuwa, and Pascal Siakam, but they lack a true three-level scorer and defender on the wing. Castle has the potential to fill that void. Bleacher Report's mock draft also has the Raptors selecting Terrence Shannon Jr. (No. 11) and Jaylon Tyson (No. 29) in the first round. Shannon Jr. is a 6'6" guard who averaged 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for Texas Tech last season. Tyson is a 6'7" forward who averaged 11.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for Texas A&M.
