The Brownsville Partnership and NYCHA Collaborate on The Rise Project
The Brownsville Partnership, in collaboration with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), is proud to announce the opening of The Rise, a new 100% affordable housing development in Brownsville. The Rise is located on NYCHA land and offers 179 units of affordable housing to low-income families and individuals. The development includes a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as amenities such as a community room, fitness center, and outdoor playground.
The Rise is part of NYCHA's larger plan to create and preserve affordable housing in New York City. In recent years, NYCHA has worked with a variety of partners to develop new affordable housing units, including The Rise. These partnerships are essential to NYCHA's mission of providing safe and affordable housing to all New Yorkers.
The Brownsville Partnership is a non-profit organization that works to revitalize the Brownsville neighborhood. The Partnership has been involved in a number of initiatives to improve the quality of life for Brownsville residents, including the development of The Rise. The Partnership is committed to continuing to work with NYCHA and other partners to create more affordable housing opportunities in Brownsville.
