Affected Products

The affected products include ground beef patties, ground beef crumbles, and ground beef chubs. The products have the establishment number "EST. 46841" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to retail stores nationwide.

Walmart Recall

On May 1, 2024, Walmart began a separate recall for over 16,000 pounds of raw ground beef. The affected products were sold at Walmart stores nationwide.

Cargill Meat Solutions Recall

Cargill Meat Solutions has also issued a recall for 16,243 pounds of raw ground beef. The affected products were produced on March 29, 2024, and have the establishment number "EST. 46841" inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were shipped to retail stores in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Symptoms of E. coli Infection

Symptoms of E. coli infection can include abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, and fever. In severe cases, E. coli infection can lead to kidney failure and even death.

What to Do If You Have Affected Products

If you have purchased any of the affected products, do not eat them. Throw them away immediately and contact the retailer where you purchased the products for a refund.
