Day 2 Recap:

Welcome to the second day of the 2024 NBA Draft. This round was originally supposed to be an evening affair, but it was moved to the afternoon due to the length of the first night. There were still plenty of deals to be made, though, as teams looked to add talent to their rosters.

The biggest trade of the day saw the Milwaukee Bucks send the No. 3 pick to the Indiana Pacers for the No. 6 pick and two future first-round picks. The Bucks used the No. 6 pick to select Australian guard Dyson Daniels, while the Pacers took Purdue forward Caleb Swanigan with the No. 3 pick.

Other notable trades included the Cleveland Cavaliers sending the No. 14 pick to the Charlotte Hornets for the No. 19 pick and two future second-round picks, and the Denver Nuggets sending the No. 22 pick to the New York Knicks for the No. 27 pick and two future second-round picks.

The 2024 NBA Draft is now complete, and teams will now begin to prepare for the upcoming season. It will be interesting to see how these new additions fit in with their new teams, and who emerges as the stars of the draft class.

There were 58 picks in this year's draft since the NBA stripped the Suns and 76ers of their picks due to previous violations.

The Orlando Magic selected Paolo Banchero with the No. 1 overall pick, followed by Chet Holmgren to the Oklahoma City Thunder at No. 2 and Jabari Smith Jr. to the Houston Rockets at No. 3.

Other notable picks included Jaden Ivey to the Detroit Pistons at No. 5, Shaedon Sharpe to the Portland Trail Blazers at No. 7, and Johnny Davis to the Washington Wizards at No. 8.

The draft was full of surprises, with several players going higher or lower than expected. It will be interesting to see how these players develop in the NBA, and who emerges as the stars of the draft class.
